Security Notice: Demonstrations in Rome ON March 17 and March 20, 2007

A demonstration against the war in Iraq is scheduled to take place Saturday, March 17, from 14.30 to 19.30. The demonstrators will march from Piazza della Repubblica to Piazza Navona. The organizers are expecting approximately 10,000 participants, which may include far left wing elements and to include some of the Social Centers. COBAS will also be represented.
Another demonstration against the war in Iraq is scheduled for Tuesday, March 20, from 16.30 to 18.30. This one will take place in front of the American Embassy. Approximately 30 Americans are expected to demonstrate.
