Demonstration Notice: Demonstration Scheduled in Rome – May 8, 2009

Please be advised that there is a demonstration scheduled for today, May 8, 2009, starting at 17:00 hours. A group of about 40 people will gather across the street from the U.S. Embassy in Rome on the corner of Via Veneto and Via Bissolati. The protest is coordinated by members of the organization “La Rete – Disarmiamoli” protesting the U.S. in Afghanistan. Extra police and Carabinieri will be present during the demonstration.
