Demonstration Notices - Archive

Demonstration notice: demonstration Scheduled in Rome for Saturday, January 3, 2009

Please be advised that on Saturday, January 3, there is a demonstration scheduled in Piazza Barberini. The demonstration is pro-Palestinian and is scheduled to start around 15:00. Organizers are expecting 1000 participants. The police will be there and will block off Via Veneto toward the U.S. Embassy so protestors will not be able to move in that direction. The U.S. Embassy recommends that U.S. citizens avoid the area.
